To zap or not to zap...

...the current question that is

So, the latest hot topic at work is...whether I should get some obscure lazer magic wand thingy pointed at my eyes which miraculously makes me see again! Hallelujah!

All are dead against, whereas I...in my infinite wisdom/utter stupidity (pick one)...am so over the 'ooohh i look so sophisticated in me glasses' phase

To make things that little bit more interesting (yes folks, never a dull moment in the land of Preet) - I will probably run off to some obscure third world country (Thailand?!) where such obscure magic laser wand seems to be in existence

At mention of this my lovely and supportive colleagues at work awarded me the 'even more of an idiot than we thought' badge

I would love to know what my oh so lovely and supportive friends in the blog world think of this - please feel free to use such phrases as 'are you insane woman?' (which by the way is subject to discussion)

Your opinions are much appreciated! Thank you! ;o)

Are you insane(!) woman?!

lol, well you asked for it (",)

ps. I personally wouldn't get my eyes zapped if someone paid me to do it.

I would suggest strengthening your eyes naturally and doing eye exercises to retrain your eyes and re-learn vision. Yep, I just learned recently that vision is a learned skill. Forget glasses or surgery do it the natural way. :-)
Good luck.

Satvinder I can always rely on you for sensible advise!
Im gona get 'insane' tattooed on my body in 40 different languages - I still want to go through with it!

Prabhu Singh - I was told by my optician friend that short sightedness was irreversable. Is this is a conspiracy be all opticians to lead us to believe that there is nothing else we can do?!

go for it!

Oh thanks Randeep!
It sure gona save alot of hassle - glasses/contact lenses can be annoying sometimes.

ok, on a level, i know people who went even to india to get it done, and it was successfull, but theres always a risk, even in the uk, my mums friends got it done, theres was successful, but then theres people who got it done and there eye site went worse, is it worth the risk? best thing to do is, do bit more research, and if you do go ahead, get one eye at a time, and do an ardas, respectica
